Community Tree Planting (Town of Athabasca)

On Thursday, May 28th, from 10AM – 2PM, there is an opportunity to help AWC staff plant native species along the Tawatinaw River in the Town of Athabasca! If you are interested in joining us, we will meet at the Athabasca Landing Trail parking lot next to the car wash at 10AM.
This event is recommended for ages 12+ and will take place rain or shine, so please come prepared for all weather conditions! We suggest wearing close-toe shoes and long pants. Water, gloves, shovels will be provided. Please remember to bring a lunch and snacks! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out by emailing sarah@athabascawatershed.ca
