The Athabasca Watershed Council is part of a broader network of WPACs (Watershed Planning and Advisory Council), government bodies, First Nations, research facilities and related NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) all working together to protect and preserve Alberta’s environment and water resources.
We work to help promote region-speific local stewardship efforts across the Athabasca watershed.
